Raspberry chocolate smoothie

Love chocolate milk? This smoothie is so deliciously decadent and satisfying, whilst also packing a nutritional punch from the raspberries (Low GI, rich in Vitamin C)… and best of all, the hidden mushrooms!

What?! Mushrooms in a smoothie? Why yes, they are neutrally flavoured but add wonderful immune enhancing properties and rich in fibre. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups cold filtered water 

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries

  • 1 tbsp cocoa

  • Flesh of ½ avocado

  • Dash vanilla paste

  • Dash maple syrup

  • 2 mushrooms, chopped

METHOD

  1. Blitz until smooth.

  2. Serve immediately (This feeds my family of 4 as a snack).
