Double-Choc Tahini Brownies
These brownies are decadent, gooey and really hit the spot for a morning or afternoon snack.
The tahini is such an excellent addition, it’s made from sesame seeds and high in;

✅ Fibre
✅ Iron
✅ Zinc for immunity & sex hormone production
✅ Selenium for thyroid function

INGREDIENTS
1.5 cups almond or flax meal
1/2 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup walnuts (optional)
1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
1/2 cup maple or rice malt syrup
3 eggs whisked
100g 85% dark chocolate
2 tbsp tahini
METHOD
Combine dry ingredients in a bowl until cocoa is blended through evenly.
In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients (except the tahini) and then add to the dry ingredients.
Once combined, pour into a rectangle baking tin lined with baking paper.
As the final step, spoon and swirl small portions of tahini throughout the mixture to create a marbled effect.
Bake in a 160°C oven for 20 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.
